the p word is back!

so...

first exam - saturday
which is - sociology
but i am now studying - anthropology
because - its SO much to learn
weather - wet, windy, might as well be WINTER
irritated - because its supposed to be SUMMER
wish it was - the 14th of november
so i could - stop learning and start partying.

christina = the queen of procrastination!

ladies and gentleman... indeed ... christina's good old act of procrastinating is back, when she should actually be learning for her end of year exams, but in actual fact is sitting in her room, at her desk, typing up yet another very random blog in order to laugh herself to a standstill because she is wasting people's time...although she is very grateful that they do read her blog because then she would be wasting her time. and we don't want that...

siri & sheryl - i don't care what you say. you are coming to kenya. like i said...not even a question.
mum & far - i love you lots
siri & sheryl - i also love you 2 lots!
students an peeps that know me - wasssup! ;)
random people that don't know me - hello, my name is christina...take no notice of me. i am just a crazy kenyan studying film and thinks she can play golf but still needs to realise that if she can't putt, she can't play!

awesome...cheerio!

p.s - check out the procrastination pic! yea...i ate them all once i was done taking procrastination pictures! :)

feelin incredibly random right now.

my art essay is...boring me half death i really am trying to finish it asap so i can pull out the fork thats stuck in my neck...
its my dads birthday on tuesday
its sheryls birthday on wednesday
and i cant be with either of them, unless of course i call sergio and ask him to send the jet to cape town so i can fly to nairobi for tuesday and then massachusetts on wednesday
but if i did that i would be seriously screwed for my sociology essay which is due in on thursday.
did i mention that i have exams in one and a half weeks?
yea...
i have exams in one and a half weeks time

and in all this you would probably assume that christina is a tad bit irritated/stressed/over it and needs to build a bridge type thing but hey, let me tell you something...i have built that bridge. and let me tell you how i did that -

went to the east african society formal on friday night. hence the pictures...you think id wear a kikoy as a top on a random evening? ya...ok! it was a challenge wearing that thing! played golf with 'the boys' yesterday...that was cool. and we are probably going to la med later...

so i guess if you were some random person who saw me this weekend, you probably wouldn't think that iv been an irritated/stressed individual.

ha ha ha
i fooled you all

once again

devil drinks white

so this is the title for my storyboard. just so you know, i didn't choose it. it was from one of the 4 scenario's us film students could choose from. it's not a bad title come to think of it.
anyway, just to let you know, a storyboard is a series of sketches in the form of frames, that show the plot, action, characters and the setting of a film. its basically a print rendition of the final film! seeing as i really want to get into the production stream in my film course next year, this assignment = very important! normally, a storyboard just needs to be rough sketches...in order to get the idea across, but seeing as christina has not inherited her father's drawing skills, she has decided to take pictures! yay! (note to self - don't talk in the 3rd person, its just stupid)

so my little 'photoshoot' happened last night and it was great. didn't manage to take all the pictures i need for my sb because not all of my 'models' were at home last night, so hopefully il finish it off tonight! oh by the way, all 14 of my housemates are my models! they were absolutely brilliant last night. really helpful and easy to work with. i guess they had to be! but anyway...
i got all the girls to dress up, which, let's face it...is awesome fun and the guys went all out as well! i set up the living/tv room area to look like a cocktail/dinner party section of the house, put a ‘bar’ in the corner and placed all the alcoholic bottles that we own onto this table, as well as rob’s fish! also lit all these candles we had lying around the house and put them everywhere.
so i think i managed to depict the kind of scene i was going for. now all i need to do is choose the right pictures and put them together! lets say im in the editing phase of my little scene in my film!
