hello all!

it occured to me that because im going to mombasa tomorrow, today would be the day that i should actually write in my blog!
finally!

last week thursday was when my very exciting weekend began. i went to cape town to surprise nuraan for her 21st birthday. dj and I had been planning it for quite a while. i was going to stay with dj on the thursday night and friday would be spent getting ready for the big bash that night, as well as me avoiding nuraan at cavendish the whole morning! dj hired a limousine to take us to the party, nuraan didn't know about this either! so that evening christina was placed into the limousine and waited for nuraan to open the door. it was wild! she was ecstatic. it was so awesome....
once nuraan had calmed down, we got into the very pretty, elongated white car and went for a ride. too freakin cool! anyway that night was great fun. nunz went all out to ensure that we all had a fantastic time! i don't have pictures to share with you right now but il upload em' soon.

then i was back home on sunday, just in time for christmas! :) so it's been three days of eating and going to relatives' and family friends' houses for some more eating. i have one word for you - gym! which is where im off to straight after this is done.

shocking

ok, i really do have an explanation as to why i've been so quiet...internet in kenya is a bit unreliable, which means it is quite a mission getting online and then waiting for pages to upload and blah blah blah. i don't complain.
um.....ya.

anyway, been home for about 2 weeks. its wonderful. siri is here. and its so exciting! i have shown her a couple of crazy nights out in nairobi. there is always so much going on. i have been sick for the past week! so yes, i was a little sick on my birthday. boo-hoo. had a good time though. my fam, siri and i went to tamarind for my b-day lunch. how awesome! lots of crab and oysters...and that's about it sheryl....dunno what else i can tell you. i miss you!

im feeling much better at the mo! the weather over here is fab!
