the 4 of us

so tomorrow, chris and i are flying back to cape town. i don't wanna go! what can i say, the holiday has been a blast. just when we were all starting to get back in the groove of us being home together, it has to now come to an end. today gathoni, tanvi, bukky and i went to sarit for lunch and we were sitting at hidden agenda jus chatting and talking about the things us girls talk about. then it hit me... we have known each other all our lives and to this day, we have never grown tired of each other, there's never been a minute where we would rather be somewhere else and we still laugh at our childish ways and scandalous behaviour that has gotten us to where we are now. great friends. imagining another 18 years of all this is just to much to fathom right now.
as tanvi and gath are about to go off an experience their uni lives...i can guarantee that we will all be back together again...in december...ready to carry on where we left off

a part of me

il never forget the morning we went to muizenburg. siri, sam, sheryl, uwe and i. for an experience neither sheryl nor i would forget. that crazy car, which thankfully got us from A to B! i almost wanted to take the weather as a sign. It was pouring with rain and i had my stomach in my throat... it was a hectic feeling. so, 5 minutes after i sat on that strange bed, i went from the idea...

to the reality

nairoberry

my word have i got stories for you. lets start off with the not so hectic one first. superman was actually good, i thought. i enjoyed it. then after we picked up half of nairobi we set off 2 black..was great fun till about midnight and then the night just got out of hand. about 20 people...no lie..20...got their cell phones stolen from their pockets or handbags! it was crazy. when you in nairobi you are definitely dealing with the pro's! so my brother was a victim and is at a huge loss as his new 2 month old nokia is in the hands of the very crafty local community!! these crooks are all lions i say..waiting for the next individual they can pounce on and then sell the phones at the corner of uhuru highway and university roundabout, after of course, they have spent all your airtime. quite a clever scheme i must say! excellent. drama drama drama.

black cotton

today is the day...first friday of every month that black cotton opens its doors. been the talk of the town for some days now, which is very surprising because we are all on kenyan time and only operate on plans made on the day.
anyhoo, stefan and i are going to watch superman returns tonight. i really dont know what to expect but my excitement levels are really and truly below par. soon after that we shall proceed to gathoni's house and then geoffery's house...AND THEN go to black. prolly get there at around 11 and it will be a couple of hours later that the party people of nairobi will be in full swing. a tusker here and a tusker there...will promise for an absolutely great fabulous awesome sawa night out.
